NeoDraft Series — Flaming Eternity Edition

The NeoDraft Series continues… and this time we dive into one of the most unique sets of the era:

Flaming Eternity

A set packed with Beast synergy, fusion enablers, equip engines, and classic power cards ready to completely reshape the opening turn of every duel.

What makes this edition special?

Flaming Eternity it's a set where:

  • Beasts swarm and scale explosively
  • Fusion strategies gain consistency through substitutes
  • Standalone bombs can decide the duel from turn 1

And in NeoDraft…

all of that happens instantly.

General NeoDraft Rules

 Monsters

  • Normal, Effect, Ritual, and Fusion monsters are placed directly on the field in face-up position (Attack or Defense, player’s choice)
  • They are treated as properly summoned
  • Flip monsters go to the hand instead

Spells

  • Normal, Quick-Play, Equip, and Ritual Spells → added to hand
  • Continuous & Field Spells → automatically activated on the field at the start of the duel

Traps

  • Normal & Counter Traps → added to hand
  • Continuous Traps → start active on the field

Important System Rules

  • Drafted cards ignore summoning conditions and requirements
  • Cards that depend on support → receive it automatically
  • Maintenance costs → not paid during first turns
  • If a Continuous card cannot be activated at the start, it goes to the hand instead

🎲 Special Rules — Flaming Eternity Edition

This edition introduces custom interactions and exceptions that enhance gameplay and make certain cards function as intended:

The following cards start in the player's hand instead of the field:

  • Granmarg the Rock Monarch → so it can properly activate its effect.
  • Swords of Concealing Light → allows for strategic timing instead of automatic activation.

⚔️ Spiral Spear Strike

  • Starts on the field
  • Before the duel begins, roll a die 🎲:
    • 1–3 → Gaia the Fierce Knight is placed on your field
    • 4–6 → Gaia the Dragon Champion is placed instead

Release Restraint

  • When obtained as a draft card, Gearfried the Iron Knight is automatically placed on the field
👉 enabling immediate access to Swordmaster plays if you have it.

Ultimate Insect LV5

  • Treated as if Special Summoned by Ultimate Insect LV3
Its -500 ATK field effect is active from the start
