Download NeoGoat Pro Light v0.2
- Download the file from itch.io.
- Extract the file to a folder.
- Open the folder NeoGoat-Pro-Light-0.2.
- Run NeoGoat Pro.exe.
If Windows shows a security warning, choose More info and then Run anyway. This can happen because the beta executable is not digitally signed yet.
If Windows cannot extract the file directly, use 7-Zip or WinRAR.
Do not delete internal folders
NeoGoat Pro needs its internal folders to work correctly. Do not delete, rename, or move folders such as:
- script
- pics
- sound
- deck
- WindBot
- expansions

Online play
Open Online from the main menu.
- Enter your name.
- Press refresh if you do not see any rooms.
- Create a room or join an existing room.
- Both players must mark themselves as ready.
- The host starts the duel.
Room options
- Single: one duel.
- Match: match with multiple duels.
- NeoDraft: duel using NeoDraft mode.
- Choose random start player: the game randomly chooses who starts and skips rock-paper-scissors.
If online does not connect, check your internet connection, close and reopen the game, and make sure Windows Firewall is not blocking the program.
Solo Mode against bot
Open Solo Mode from the main menu.
- Select your deck.
- Select the bot deck.
- Choose normal duel or NeoDraft.
- Press start.
The bot is called NeoChivo. It can still make mistakes, but it is useful for testing decks, cards, and general practice.
NeoDraft
NeoDraft is a casual mode where special or random cards appear at the start of the duel. These cards are not necessarily part of your original deck.
The point of NeoDraft is to create strange, casual, and fun game states. When creating a NeoDraft game, you can choose the available pack.
Recommendation: use NeoDraft for casual games. Do not use NeoDraft games to judge normal competitive balance, because cards outside the original deck can appear.
Deck Editor
Open Deck Editor from the main menu.
From there you can:
- Create decks.
- Edit decks.
- Search cards.
- Save changes.
- Sort or clean decks.
Your decks are stored in the deck folder.
Before changing to a new version of the game, back up this folder if you do not want to lose your decks.
Profile, music, and images
From the main menu, open Profile.
From there you can change:
- Player name.
- Bot name.
- Sound on/off.
- Volume.
- Show FPS.
- Language.
- Game images.
- Duel music.
After changing name, sound, volume, or language, press Save.
Custom duel music
Go to Profile → Background music.
From that window you can:
- View the music inside the duel music folder.
- Open a music track.
- Add new music.
- Delete music.
Duel music is stored in:
Accepted formats:
- .wav
- .mp3
- .ogg
- .flac
Important note: errors may occur if .mp3 is used. If an MP3 causes sound problems, try converting it to WAV or OGG.
Recommended format for duel music: .ogg.
Custom images
In Profile, you can change images such as:
- Main menu image.
- Main sleeve.
- Alternate sleeve.
- Deck editor background.
- Duel background.
Recommended image formats: JPG and PNG. Avoid images that are too large.
Replays
Open Replays to watch saved duels.
- Normal replays can be used to review games.
- NeoDraft replays may not always open correctly.
- For serious balance analysis, separate normal games from NeoDraft games.
What to back up before updating
The most important folder to back up is:
Optional folders to back up:
- sound/BGM/duel if you added custom music.
- textures if you changed images.
- replay if you want to keep replays.
Troubleshooting
- If the game does not open, check that no internal folders are missing.
- If online fails, restart the game and re-enter the room.
- If rooms do not appear, press refresh and check whether the online server is active.
- If music fails, try WAV or OGG instead of MP3.
- If Windows blocks the program, check Windows Firewall and allow the game if you trust the download source.
- Before updating, back up your deck folder.
Report issues

- What happened before the issue.
- Whether the issue happened online, against bot, in NeoDraft, in the deck editor, or while opening a replay.
- If possible, include screenshots or replay files.
