Quick Start Guide
How to Use NeoGoat Pro on Windows and Android
NeoGoat Pro is now available for Windows and Android. Choose your platform below, then use this guide to configure your profile, build a deck, duel against NeoChivo, play online, and manage replays.
Download NeoGoat Pro 0.3.2 beta 43
Windows players should download and extract the complete ZIP package. Android players can download and install the APK directly on a compatible phone or tablet.
Download for Windows Download for Android
Android version: NeoGoat Pro Android 0.3.2-beta.43. If Android blocks the installation, allow installs from the browser or file manager you used to download the APK.
Install on Android
- Open the NeoGoat Pro Android download page on your phone or tablet.
- Download NeoGoat-Pro-Android-0.3.2-beta.43.apk.
- Open the APK from your browser downloads or file manager.
- If Android blocks the installation, open Settings from the warning and enable Allow from this source for the browser or file manager you used.
- Return to the installer and tap Install.
- Open NeoGoat Pro and grant file access when Android requests it. This permission is used for cards, decks, replays, and game resources.
Android updates
When a new version is released, download the new APK and tap Update. Do not uninstall the current app first, because uninstalling may remove your settings, decks, and replays. At least 500 MB of free storage is recommended.
Quick start on Windows
- Extract the complete ZIP file.
- Run NeoGoat Pro.exe.
- Enter Profile, choose your player name, and press Save.
- To play against the computer, open Solo Mode.
- Select your deck and, separately, the deck NeoChivo will use.
- Press Start.
Do not open Bot.exe manually.
NeoGoat starts it automatically when needed. Do not move only the main executable to another folder, because the game also requires Bot.exe, WindBot, cards.cdb, and its image, sound, deck, script, and replay folders.
If Windows asks for firewall permission when using Solo, Online, or LAN, allow access on private networks. Pressing Esc minimizes the game; it does not close it.
Profile and customization
The Profile menu lets you set your player name, change the visible name of NeoChivo, select English or Spanish, show the FPS counter, and adjust sound effects. Restart the game after changing the language.
You can also replace the main menu background, card sleeves, Deck Editor background, and duel field background. Supported images are JPG, JPEG, and PNG. The Restore button returns an image to the original version.
Custom background music can be added in MP3, WAV, OGG, or FLAC format. OGG is recommended. Music and effect volume can be adjusted separately from the System panel.
Solo Mode and NeoChivo
In Solo Mode, select NeoGoat Aug 2026, choose your deck, and then choose the deck NeoChivo will play. Both decks are checked for legality before the duel begins.
The random deck options for the player and NeoChivo work independently. NeoChivo always uses the deck shown in its own selector.
NeoDraft
NeoDraft is a quick variant rather than a manual draft. Enable NeoDraft, select Flaming Eternity or Retro Pack 2, and start the duel. The game automatically adds one randomly selected pack card to each player’s duel.
Playing online
Save a valid player name in Profile and then open Online. The public client connects to the configured server automatically, so you do not need to enter an IP address. You can also monitor open public rooms from the Online side panel while playing and receive a notification whenever someone creates a new room.

Join a room
- Press Refresh.
- Select an available room.
- Press Join selected.
- Enter a password or tournament code when required.
- Choose your deck and press Ready.
Create a room
Press Create room, choose Single, Match, or NeoDraft, select NeoGoat Aug 2026, and enter a room name. A password is optional. For a standard game, keep 8000 LP, five starting cards, and one card per draw.
The lobby also supports spectators, tournament rooms, current tournament information, and recent results. Private organizer administration tools are not included in the public Light version.
Live room monitoring while you play
You do not need to leave your current duel to check the public lobby. While playing, open the Online tab in the side panel to see the currently available online rooms in real time.
NeoGoat Pro also displays an on-screen notification whenever another player creates a new public room. This makes it easier to notice when someone is looking for an opponent, even while you are playing against NeoChivo or participating in another duel.
Tip: During a duel, select the Online tab next to Card Info, Log, Help, and System. The panel shows open rooms and their current status without interrupting your duel.
Deck Editor
Open the Deck Editor and select NeoGoat Aug 2026 before building. You can create a new deck, open an existing one, search by card type, Attribute, Level, ATK, DEF, name, or archetype, and drag cards between the search results and deck areas.
- Left-click a card to view its information.
- Right-click a search result to add it.
- Right-click a card in the deck to remove it.
- Use Save or Save As before leaving.
Decks are stored as .ydk files inside the deck folder. The editor also includes tools for sorting, shuffling, clearing, importing, exporting, copying, and organizing decks into categories.
Duel controls
Use left-click to select cards, zones, actions, and buttons. Right-click cancels or returns when allowed. The M1, BP, M2, and EP buttons advance through the duel phases.
Hold A to stop at every chaining opportunity, S to skip non-mandatory opportunities, or D to stop only when an activation or response is available.
The F1–F8 keys provide quick access to Graveyards, banished cards, Extra Decks, and Xyz Materials while playing. The side panel contains card information, the duel log, online information, Help, and System options.
Replays
At the end of a duel, you can save a replay manually, or enable automatic replay saving in the Help options. Replay files use the .yrp extension and are stored in the replay folder.
To import one, close the game, copy the compatible .yrp file directly into the replay folder, reopen NeoGoat Pro, and select it from Replays. Replays can be played, paused, advanced, renamed, deleted, or used to extract stored decks when supported.
Story Mode status
Story Mode remains locked in NeoGoat Pro Light 0.3.
The unavailable message is intentional and is not an installation error. Solo Mode, Online, NeoDraft, the Deck Editor, and Replays remain available.
Quick troubleshooting
- The game does not open or resources are missing: run it from the complete extracted folder and do not separate the executable from its files.
- Solo Mode does not start: confirm that both decks are legal, Bot.exe and WindBot are present, and another copy of NeoGoat is not already using port 7911.
- No online rooms appear: check your internet connection, press Refresh, save a valid player name, and allow NeoGoat through the Windows firewall.
- A replay does not appear: place a valid compatible .yrp file directly inside the replay folder and restart the game.
If a problem continues, close the game and keep the error.log file located beside the executable. It can help diagnose the problem.
Before updating or deleting the game
Back up the deck and replay folders, your customized images in textures, and imported music in sound/BGM/duel.
It is safer to configure your profile again from the interface instead of copying a system.conf file from a different version.
