Win a Goat Grand Prix Entry Tournaments on NeoGoat Pro

The Win a Goat Grand Prix Entry tournament series continued this weekend with two complete events played through NeoGoat Pro. Both tournament runs were recorded, allowing us to follow every round from the opening pairings to the final result.

Friday Tournament — Lorska’s Harpie Ladies

Friday’s tournament featured three rounds, all included in the first video. Lorska claimed the Goat Grand Prix entry with Harpie Ladies, piloting the deck successfully through all three matches.

The video presents Lorska’s complete tournament run, making it possible to see how the Harpie strategy adapted to each opponent and handled the different situations encountered throughout the event.

Friday Tournament: Lorska’s three matches with Harpie Ladies

Sunday Tournament — Jinzo Takes the Entry

The second video covers Sunday’s Win a Goat Grand Prix Entry tournament. This event lasted four rounds, and the complete competition is shown in chronological order, from Round 1 through Round 4.

Jinzo finished the tournament in first place and secured the second Goat Grand Prix entry of the weekend. Since every round was recorded, viewers can follow the development of the tournament and the matches that ultimately decided the winner.

NeoGoat Pro as a Tournament Tool

These events also provide another example of how NeoGoat Pro can be used as a complete tournament platform. Players can register for the scheduled event, receive their round and table assignments, enter their matches and report results without relying on a separate tournament website.

Having the tournament structure and the dueling platform in the same program makes online events easier to organize and follow. It also allows complete tournament runs like these to be preserved and presented as part of an ongoing video series.

Congratulations to Lorska and Jinzo for winning their respective events and earning their Goat Grand Prix entries.

NeoGoat Pro - Tournament Rules

NeoGoat online tournaments are Swiss-format or Single Elimination events organized inside NeoGoat Pro. The program handles registration, pairings, assigned tables, rounds, match results and final standings without requiring an external tournament platform.

Everything takes place directly inside NeoGoat Pro. Players can register, enter their assigned tables, play their Matches and check the final results from the tournament menu.

Tournament Registration

When registration is available, the online lobby will display the following notice:

Tournament registration open

To register:

  1. Enter Online from the NeoGoat Pro main menu.
  2. Press Tournaments.
  3. Open Current Tournaments.
  4. Select the active tournament instance.
  5. Press Register.

Always use the same player name that you intend to use during the tournament. After registration, NeoGoat Pro generates a tournament player code and saves it locally. The program will use that code automatically whenever you join a table assigned to you.

Important: the advertised tournament time is the beginning of the registration period, not necessarily the beginning of Round 1.

For example, if a tournament is listed for 20:00, has a 40-minute registration period and includes a 5-minute break before the event, Round 1 will begin at 20:45.

All tournament times are displayed using the America/Mexico_City time zone.

Registered Deck

Registering for the tournament does not immediately lock a deck. Your deck becomes registered when you enter your first assigned table, select the deck that you will use and press Ready.

At that moment, the complete deck list is registered and locked for the remainder of the tournament. During later rounds, NeoGoat Pro will automatically load the same registered list.

Players may use their Side Deck normally between Duels during each Match. However, the composition of the registered deck cannot be changed between rounds.

Swiss Rounds

The number of Swiss rounds is calculated automatically according to the actual number of registered participants:

Number of Players Swiss Rounds
2 players 1 round
3–4 players 2 rounds
5–8 players 3 rounds
9–16 players 4 rounds
17–32 players 5 rounds

The pairing system attempts to match players with similar scores while avoiding repeat opponents whenever possible.

When the tournament has an odd number of participants, one player receives an automatic BYE, recorded as a 2–0 victory. The system also attempts to avoid assigning more than one BYE to the same player.

Joining an Assigned Table

When a round begins, the online lobby creates a room displaying the names of the two assigned players. Select your table and press Join.

Only the players assigned to that table may occupy the two Duelist positions. Other users may enter through the Spectator option whenever spectating is enabled for that room.

Tournament rounds are played in Match Mode. The first player to win two Duels wins the Match.

No-Shows and Unfinished Matches

Players should enter their assigned table as soon as the round begins.

  • If only one player enters the table, that player receives a 2–0 Match victory by no-show after 10 minutes.
  • If neither player enters, the table remains pending until the round closes.
  • Any table that still has no official result when the round ends receives a double loss.
  • A table that begins playing but does not finish its Match before the round time limit may also receive a double loss.
Entering the table is not enough: the Match must also produce an official result before the round closes.

Tournament Points

  • Match victory or BYE: 3 points.
  • Draw: 1 point for each player.
  • Match loss or double loss: 0 points.

The current standings system sorts players first by total points, followed by number of victories, lowest number of losses and finally player name.

End of the Tournament

After all Swiss rounds have been completed, NeoGoat Pro automatically calculates the final standings and declares the tournament winner.

Final positions, match results and table information can be reviewed from the tournament menu by opening Last Tournament Results.

NeoGoat tournaments are designed to keep the entire event in one place: registration, deck locking, Swiss pairings, assigned rooms, spectators, results and final standings are all managed directly by NeoGoat Pro.

NeoGoat Pro Android Update 0.3-android.52 Is Now Available

A new NeoGoat Pro update is now available for Android players. This build includes gameplay fixes, Deck Editor improvements, new room options and additional features designed for online and in-person tournament play.

Download the Android Update

What Is New

  • Token summoning: Tokens can now be summoned correctly during duels.
  • Open saved decks more easily: The Deck Editor now supports Set as default when using Open, allowing saved .ydk deck files to open directly with NeoGoat Pro.
  • Custom duel timers: Room hosts can now choose the duel time limit.
  • Improved Deck privacy: Nobleman of Crossout and Nobleman of Extermination no longer reveal the contents of either player's Deck. Matching cards are still banished face-up as required, and both Decks are shuffled after the effect resolves.
  • Tournament improvements: Additional refinements have been added for smoother tournament play, especially during online events.

How to Update

  1. Do not uninstall your current NeoGoat Pro application. Uninstalling it may remove your saved decks, settings and other game data.
  2. Download the new APK from the official NeoGoat Pro itch.io page.
  3. Open the downloaded APK and select Update if Android displays that option.
  4. When the update finishes, open NeoGoat Pro normally. Your existing decks and settings should remain available.
Important: If Android offers to install a separate application instead of showing Update, cancel the installation and keep your current version. Do not uninstall the old application, as doing so may erase your saved decks.

NeoGoat Pro Light 0.3 Is Now Available — New Format, Online Tournaments and More

The new public version of NeoGoat Pro is here. NeoGoat Pro Light 0.3 is now available as a free download for Windows, featuring the new August 2026 format, expanded online play, tournament support, live room monitoring, NeoDraft, NeoChivo AI duels, and several interface and quality-of-life improvements.

Download NeoGoat Pro Light 0.3

Download the ZIP package, extract the complete folder, and open Abrir-NeoGoat.bat or NeoGoat Pro.exe.

Play with the NeoGoat August 2026 format

NeoGoat Pro Light 0.3 updates the client to the NeoGoat August 2026 card pool and Forbidden & Limited List. The new format can be selected in Solo Mode, Online play, NeoDraft, and the Deck Editor.

Some of the main August changes included in this release are:

  • Chaos Sorcerer is now Semi-Limited.
  • Return from the Different Dimension is Forbidden.
  • Card Destruction is Forbidden.
  • Birthright is Limited.
  • Ancient Rules has been added to the available card pool.

Decks are checked against the selected format before a Solo or Online duel begins, and the Deck Editor displays the active card limits while you build.

Expanded online play

The Online section now provides a more complete public lobby experience. Players can create or join Single Duels, Matches, and NeoDraft rooms using the new August 2026 format.

Public rooms can use standard settings or customized Life Points, opening hands, draw counts, passwords, and duel time controls. The default time system begins with 180 seconds, adds 30 seconds each turn, and has a maximum bank of 300 seconds.

See open rooms while you are playing

One of the most useful additions in version 0.3 is the new live Online panel available during duels.

While playing against NeoChivo or participating in another duel, you can open the Online tab in the side panel and see the public rooms that are currently open. You no longer need to leave your duel and return to the main lobby just to check whether someone is looking for an opponent.

NeoGoat Pro also displays an on-screen notification whenever another player creates a new public room. This allows you to notice new activity immediately, even while you are already playing.

Live lobby feature: open the Online tab during a duel to see active rooms and their current status. A message also appears when a new public room is created.

Online tournament modes

NeoGoat Pro Light 0.3 introduces public tournament features directly inside the client.

Players can view current tournaments and recent results, register for supported events, and enter assigned tournament rooms using a private table code when required.

  • Tournament information inside the Online menu.
  • Tournament-specific rooms and access codes.
  • Single Duel and Match support.
  • Player registration and deck selection.
  • Tournament round and table information.
  • Recent tournament results.
  • Spectator support when the room allows observers.
  • Individual duel time banks and clearer result tracking.

The private tournament administration panel remains separate and is not included in the downloadable Light client.

Duel against NeoChivo

Solo Mode lets you choose your own deck and, separately, the deck that NeoChivo will use. This means you can test specific matchups instead of facing a randomly selected strategy.

NeoDraft

NeoDraft is available in both Solo and Online play. It is a fast variant in which each player receives an automatically selected card from Flaming Eternity or Retro Pack 2.

The selected cards are added automatically when the duel begins, creating unusual situations without requiring a complete manual draft.

Deck Editor improvements

The integrated Deck Editor allows players to create, organize, validate, import, and export decks without leaving NeoGoat Pro.

Decks can be organized into categories, copied, renamed, sorted, shuffled, or exported as standard .ydk files. The search system includes filters for card type, Attribute, Level, ATK, DEF, card name, and archetype.

Select NeoGoat Aug 2026 before building to apply the current card pool and Forbidden & Limited List.

Replays and customization

Duels can be saved as .yrp replay files and reviewed through the Replays menu. Automatic replay saving can also be enabled from the Help options.

Version 0.3 also supports custom menu backgrounds, card sleeves, duel fields, Deck Editor backgrounds, and imported background music. English and Spanish interfaces are included.

Story Mode status

Story Mode remains locked in NeoGoat Pro Light 0.3.

The unavailable message is intentional and is not an installation problem. Solo Mode, Online play, tournaments, NeoDraft, the Deck Editor, and Replays are available in this release.

Installation

  1. Download NeoGoat-Pro-Light-0.3.zip.
  2. Extract the entire ZIP file into a new folder.
  3. Open Abrir-NeoGoat.bat or NeoGoat Pro.exe.
  4. Enter Profile, choose your player name, and press Save.
  5. Build or import a legal deck and enter Solo or Online.

Keep all included files and folders together. Do not run Bot.exe manually, and do not move only the main executable outside the NeoGoat Pro folder.

NeoGoat Pro Light 0.3 is available now.

Download the new version, build your August 2026 deck, challenge NeoChivo, create an online room, or join the next NeoGoat tournament.

Download NeoGoat Pro Light 0.3

Thank you to everyone who tested the client, submitted replays, reported problems, and continued supporting the NeoGoat community.

We hope to see you in the new online lobby.

  2. Extract it to a folder.
  3. Open the folder NeoGoat-Pro-Light-0.2.

  • Online play requires an internet connection.
  • The server is currently in beta and may restart or go offline during testing.
  • Your decks are stored in the deck folder. Back it up before updating to a new version.

  3. Refresh the room list.
  4. Create a room or join an existing room.
  5. Both players must mark themselves as ready.
  6. The host starts the duel.

If the game does not connect, check your internet connection, restart the game, and make sure Windows Firewall is not blocking the program.

Custom music

Duel music can be changed from Profile → Background music.

Recommended format: .ogg. MP3 may cause sound errors in some cases.

Free and unofficial

NeoGoat Pro is free and unofficial. This release is meant to help players test the client, play online, build decks, and report issues for future versions.
