Force of the Breaker — Special NeoDraft Rules

NeoDraft is an experimental NeoGoat format where each player receives one random card from the featured pool before each duel.

Monsters normally begin on the field in face-up Attack Position and are treated as properly summoned. Flip Monsters, Normal/Quick-Play/Equip Spells and Normal Traps begin in the hand. Field Spells, Continuous Spells and Continuous Traps normally begin already active.

This edition uses a curated Force of the Breaker pool, including Winged Rhynos and Phantom Beast Rock-Lizard from the Special Edition.

Cards Removed from the Pool

Some cards of the set were removed from real pool because they have little or no practical use when received as a single NeoDraft card.

Removed cards include: Mass Hypnosis, Crystal Beacon, Rare Value, Crystal Blessing, Crystal Abundance, Crystal Promise, Crystal Raigeki, Ancient City - Rainbow Ruins, Last Resort, Otherworld - The "A" Zone, Breakthrough!, Backs to the Wall and Wild Fire.

Force of the Breaker Exceptions

• Field Barrier begins in the hand instead of starting active.
• Raiza the Storm Monarch, Sky Scourge Invicil and Prometheus, King of the Shadows begin in the hand instead of on the field.
• Firewall begins active and does not pay its maintenance cost.
• Elemental HERO Captain Gold begins with Skyscraper active.
• Archfiend General begins with Pandemonium active.
• Zeradias, Herald of Heaven begins with The Sanctuary in the Sky active.

These Field Spells are provided because Captain Gold, Archfiend General and Zeradias would otherwise destroy themselves immediately.

In-Store Booster Draft

During in-store NeoDraft tournaments, players seated at Table 1 will open English Force of the Breaker booster packs and use the cards pulled from those packs as their NeoDraft cards for that round.

In addition, during the final round of the tournament, Korean Force of the Breaker booster packs will be available for all players, giving everyone one last chance to play their Draft duel using a card pulled directly from a booster.

Other Notes

Blaze Accelerator and Tri-Blaze Accelerator remain in the pool at low frequency.

Most monsters remain even if part of their archetype-specific effect is unavailable, since a monster placed directly on the field can still be useful as an attacker, defender or Tribute.
