NeoGoat Loaner Decks — April 2026 - Part 1

 Deck #1: Gravekeepers

Kicking off our April 2026 Loaner Deck series, we start with Gravekeepers — a solid, beginner-friendly control deck in NeoGoat.

Built around Necrovalley, this strategy locks down the opponent’s graveyard while using flips and recursion to grind out wins. It’s perfect for players who enjoy smart, methodical play.

Monsters (20): 1x Gravekeeper's Chief 3x Gravekeeper's Commandant 2x Gravekeeper's Ambusher 2x Gravekeeper's Assailant 1x Gravekeeper's Spear Soldier 1x Breaker the Magical Warrior 3x Gravekeeper's Spy 3x Gravekeeper's Guard 1x Tribe-Infecting Virus 2x Tsukuyomi

Spells (12): 2x Book of Moon 3x Necrovalley 1x Nobleman of Crossout 1x My Body as a Shield 1x Heavy Storm 1x Mystical Space Typhoon 1x Pot of Greed 1x Smashing Ground 1x Terraforming

Traps (8): 1x Bottomless Trap Hole 1x Dust Tornado 1x Mirror Force 1x Ring of Destruction 3x Rite of Spirit 1x Solemn Judgment 1x Torrential Tribute

Side Deck (15) 1x Mobius the Frost Monarch • 1x Zaborg the Thunder Monarch • 1x Lightning Vortex • 1x Premature Burial • 1x Smashing Ground 2x Bottomless Trap Hole • 2x Dust Tornado • 2x Rivalry of Warlords • 2x Skill Drain • 2x Solemn Scolding

Core Strategy

Necrovalley boosts your Gravekeepers (+500 ATK/DEF) and shuts down graveyard effects — devastating against Chaos and recursion decks. 3 Commandant + Terraforming gives you strong access to it.

Defensive Engine

  • Spy searches any Gravekeeper on flip.
  • Guard bounces opponent’s monsters.
  • Tsukuyomi reuses both repeatedly.

This loop creates constant advantage and disruption.

Gravekeeper’s Ambusher is a newer card recently added to the NeoGoat pool. When flipped, it places a card from the opponent’s GY on the bottom of their Deck, but the important part is that if sent to the GY after flipping, it also recycles a Necrovalley from your own GY.

Recursion & Pressure Rite of Spirit (x3) revives your monsters instantly, letting you grind forever. Assailant and Spear Soldier provide steady damage and removal.

Win Condition No flashy OTKs — you slowly suffocate the opponent with boosted monsters, recursion, and well-timed flips.

Weaknesses

  • Depends heavily on Necrovalley staying up.
  • Can struggle vs heavy backrow removal or very fast decks.
  • Sometimes bricks against too many big monsters.

Why It’s Great for Loaners Easy to learn, strong against popular strategies, and teaches timing, protection, and resource management. Very forgiving thanks to recursion.

Deck #2: Toons

For our second April 2026 Loaner Deck, we bring you something completely different: Toons — a fun, explosive midrange build that turns cartoon chaos into real pressure.

Toon Bookmark is the brand-new card added to the NeoGoat pool in April 2026. Combined with 3 copies of Toon Table of Contents, it gives the deck incredible search consistency, letting you find Toon World and your key pieces much more reliably than before and it protect your Toon World from destruction afterwards.

This version mixes a strong control shell with the classic Toon engine, making it more consistent and competitive than pure gimmick Toon decks. It rewards smart timing and delivers satisfying direct-damage wins.

Monsters (18): 3x Toon Summoned Skull 1x Toon Dark Magician Girl 2x Toon Mermaid 2x Toon Gemini Elf 2x Toon Goblin Attack Force 1x Jinzo 1x Mobius the Frost Monarch 1x Breaker the Magical Warrior 2x Gravekeeper's Spy 1x Tribe-Infecting Virus 1x Sinister Serpent

Spells (18): 1x Pot of Greed 1x Soul Exchange 1x Brain Control 3x Toon Bookmark 1x Giant Trunade 1x Book of Moon 1x Mystical Space Typhoon 1x Metamorphosis 1x Upstart Goblin 1x Nobleman of Crossout 1x Scapegoat 3x Toon Table of Contents 2x Toon World

Traps (4): 2x Bottomless Trap Hole 1x Mirror Force 1x Ring of Destruction 1x Torrential Tribute

Extra Deck 2x Dark Balter the Terrible • 2x Gatling Dragon • 1x Meteor Black Dragon • 1x Ojama King • 2x Ryu Senshi • 1x Thousand-Eyes Restrict • 2x Dark Blade the Dragon Knight • 2x Darkfire Dragon • 2x Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon

Side Deck (15)

1x Blue-Eyes Toon Dragon • 1x Mobius • 1x Heavy Storm • 1x Lightning Vortex • 1x Nobleman of Crossout • 1x Premature Burial • 1x Call of the Haunted • 2x Dust Tornado • 2x Pulling the Rug • 2x Sakuretsu Armor • 2x Skill Drain

Core Strategy Resolve and protect Toon World to unlock powerful direct attacks.

Once Toon World is active, your Toons become high-impact direct damage threats that can chunk huge amounts of life points in a single turn.

🎞️The Toon Threat Package (Three Types of toons):

  • Wave 1 (Toon Mermaid, Toon Summoned Skull, Toon Blue-Eyes): Must be first special summoned from hand when Toon World is on field. Must pay 500 LP to attack. Can attack directly always. Cannot attack the turn they are summoned.
  • Wave 2 (Toon Gemini Elf, Toon Goblin Attack Force): They are normal summon. Can be summoned without Toon World. Cannot attack the turn they are summoned. Can only attack directly if Toon World is on the field.
  • Wave 3 (Toon Dark Magician Girl): Must be first summoned from hand when Toon World is on field, but can attack the turn it is summoned and can attack directly.

All Toons are destroyed if Toon World is destroyed, and none can attack directly if the opponent controls a Toon monster.

Once Toon World is active, your Toons become high-impact direct damage threats that can chunk huge amounts of life points in a single turn.

Even one surviving Toon can snowball the game fast.

Control Shell

This isn’t a fragile all-in Toon deck. It runs real NeoGoat tools:

  • Gravekeeper’s Spy for early stabilization and tribute fooder.
  • Jinzo and Mobius to shut down or clear backrow
  • Brain Control / Soul Exchange for tempo steals
  • Scapegoats can be tributed to special summon toons also + Metamorphosis into Thousand-Eyes Restrict for defense and removal

You control the pace and choose the right moment to go aggressive.

Key Interactions

  • Toon Table of Contents → Bookmark → Toon World (explosive consistency)
  • Giant Trunade + Toon direct attacks (backrow wipe into damage)
  • Scapegoat → Metamorphosis → Thousand-Eyes Restrict (strong stall + removal)
  • Tribute stolen monsters for Jinzo or Mobius

Weaknesses

  • Still relies on Toon World staying on the field
  • Can brick with toons that need Toon World
  • Timing is everything — overcommitting early gets punished

Why This is a Great Loaner Deck

  • Teaches how to blend an archetype engine with strong staples
  • Delivers fun, explosive wins that feel rewarding
  • Shows the importance of timing pushes vs holding back
  • Feels unique and different from most NeoGoat decks

Closing Thoughts

That wraps up Part 1 of our April 2026 Loaner Deck series! More unique builds coming soon.
