Round 1 — Gaona vs. Palacios: The Rematch
Hydro Banisher Monarch vs. Good Stuff
From the last match of the weekend’s online tournament to the first round at the store! Gaona and Palacios found themselves across the table from each other again, this time trading the online field for their physical cards at Cartoncito.
Gaona brought his Hydro Banisher Monarch deck, while Palacios stayed with Good Stuff. No waiting until the end of the tournament for this pairing—the rematch was how their Tuesday started.
Gaona took the win, getting through a familiar opponent to open his tournament.

Round 2 — Perales vs. Martinz: A Breakers Team Matchup
EARTH vs. Warrior Tech
Round 2 put two members of Breakers Team on opposite sides of the table. Perales brought an EARTH deck, while Martinz played a Warrior-style build with several interesting tech choices.
The Warrior label only tells part of the story here. Martinz’s less expected card choices are a good reason to check out this recording, especially for anyone who enjoys seeing what players add around a familiar deck idea.
Being on the same team did not keep them from having to settle the match: Perales came away with the win.

Round 3 — Claudio H vs. Víctor Ahumada: Dinosaurs, Zombies, and Dragons
Dino Zombie vs. 🔥💧 Frost and Flame
Claudio H brought his Dino Zombie deck to the third featured match, facing Víctor Ahumada and an interesting build based on FIRE and WATER monsters, with Frost and Flame Dragon as its centerpiece.
That gives this recording a different flavor from the first two matches. Ahumada’s deck is worth a look for anyone curious about taking the FIRE/WATER route instead of another familiar pairing of attributes.
With two WATER monsters and one FIRE monster in the Graveyard, a player banishes all three to Special Summon Frost and Flame Dragon from their hand. They then discard a card to target and destroy an opposing monster, opening a path for an attack. A setup turn suddenly becomes a chance to push damage.
Claudio H won the match, putting Dino Zombie on the winning side of this encounter. Ahumada’s Frost and Flame build still gives us something interesting to explore in the recording.

Round 4 — Perales vs. Gustavo Chapa
EARTH vs. ⚔️ Chaos Warrior
Perales returned to our featured matches in Round 4, this time facing Gustavo Chapa. After watching his EARTH deck against Martinz’s Warrior-style build, we now get to see it against Chaos Warrior.
Two recordings of the same deck against different opponents make a nice comparison: same EARTH player, but a different matchup and a different result.
Chapa took this one, giving us the first of his two wins captured in the closing rounds. Next up for our coverage: Chaos Warrior against Claudio H’s Dino Zombie.

Final Round — Gustavo Chapa vs. Claudio H
Chaos Warrior vs. Dino Zombie
Our last recording brought together two players we had already seen win on camera: Chapa, coming off the featured match against Perales, and Claudio H, who had beaten Ahumada in Round 3.
Now it was Chaos Warrior against Dino Zombie to close the five-round event.
The recorded match result was 2–0 for Gustavo Chapa. No third game this time: Chapa took both duels against Claudio H and finished our tournament coverage with back-to-back match wins.
