Another night, another unforgettable NeoGOAT showdown—this time with 20 duelists stepping into the ring to prove their skills across four intense rounds. Despite the strong showing from HERO and Spellcaster players, the top cut told a different story. Zombie decks once again overran the bracket, showing just how oppressive their recursion and pressure can be when piloted by skilled duelists.
With Zombies repeatedly topping recent events, discussions within the NeoGOAT format committee are heating up. Many players are calling for a banlist adjustment to curb Zombie dominance, possibly targeting:
- Pyramid Turtle consistency
- Book of Life recursion loops
- Creature Swap
The decision was hit the Pyramid Turtle for now, but the next banlist update may bring some cold winds for the undead.

First Round there was a little discussion about the interaction of Mirage of Nightmare and Deck Devastation Virus, they also forgot to destroy a Des Lacooda on field after the virus resolved. The second duel the winner countered all the other player's plays.
Due to time constraints (this tournament was held at night) and how grindy late-stage matches can become, Round 5 was omitted—a decision commonly made to keep the event from running into the early hours of the morning. With four Swiss rounds completed, final standings were locked, and prizing distributed accordingly.
